wasabi hummus

with the RYU Wasabi paste

  • 250 g chickpeas, drained
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 40 g olive oil
  • 60 g tahini (sesame butter)
  • 25 g RYU Wasabi paste 
  • Juice of one lemon
  • A pinch of salt
  1. Drain the chickpeas from the tin through a sieve, while collecting the chickpea water and setting it aside.
  2. Place the chickpeas in a bowl with the RYU Wasabi paste and the other ingredients and mix well until you have a fine paste. 
  3. If the hummus is too thick, simply add the chickpea water until the consistency is to your liking.
